The tracks hold lightweight acoustic ceiling panels or tiles in place, hiding electrical wires, ducts, and other fixtures. A painted suspended ceiling is simply a suspended ceiling that has been painted with a layer of paint to match the color scheme of the room or building. The paint adds a finished and polished look to the ceiling, and can also provide a more cohesive aesthetic.
