A vanishing point is a point in a perspective drawing where parallel lines appear to converge and eventually disappear into the distance. It is the point on the horizon where all lines that are parallel in real life come together in the drawing. The vanishing point is used to accurately depict the depth and relative positions of objects in a drawing or painting.
