What are the LEED credits?

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits are a point system used to measure the environmental impact of a building. The credits are awarded based on criteria related to location and transportation, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation, and regional priority. Buildings can achieve different levels of LEED certification (Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum) depending on the number of credits they earn.
