What is the Digital Building Design?

Digital building design, also known as building information modeling (BIM), is the process of creating a digital 3D model of a building to help architects, engineers and contractors collaboratively design, plan and construct buildings. BIM software allows for the creation of a virtual model of a building that includes information on materials, geometry, lighting, HVAC systems, and other components. This allows designers and engineers to test different designs, assess the structural stability and efficiency of the building, and identify potential issues before they arise. BIM is increasingly used in the construction industry to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and save costs.
